Camp Assist Privacy Policy

Camp Assist watches campgrounds for you and sends a push notification the moment a matching site opens. This policy explains what the app collects and why. Camp Assist collects no personal information — no name, email, phone, contacts, location, advertising identifier, or analytics.

What we collect and why

• A device notification token — used only to deliver campground-availability alerts to your device. It is not linked to your identity.
• Your campground watches — the campground, the dates, any specific sites you choose, and whether to include sites reserved for campers with disabilities. Used only to monitor availability and alert you.
• An anonymous identifier — groups your watches so they work across app launches, with no login and no personal identifier.

What we do NOT do

• No tracking and no advertising. There are no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs and no tracking of any kind.
• No selling or sharing of your data. To do its job the app checks the public availability published by the campground reservation services you choose to watch; it shares nothing about you with them or anyone else.
• No personal information. We never ask for or store your name, email, phone, or location.

In-App Purchases and subscriptions

Camp Assist offers an optional Premium auto-renewable subscription that unlocks higher feature limits. It is purchased through Apple's App Store using In-App Purchase.

• Apple handles all payment and billing. Camp Assist does not collect, receive, or store any payment, credit-card, or billing information — that stays with Apple.
• Your subscription is tied to your Apple ID. Camp Assist only sees an anonymous entitlement — whether the subscription is active or not — never your identity.
• Auto-renewal and cancellation. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled. You manage or cancel it any time through your Apple ID / App Store settings on your device.

Buying Premium does not change what Camp Assist collects — the app still gathers no personal information beyond what is described above.

Notifications

Alerts are delivered through Apple Push Notification service. You can turn notifications off at any time in iOS Settings; the app stays usable and no alerts are delivered while they are off.

Data retention and deletion

Your watches are kept only while they exist — delete a watch and its data is removed. Delete the app and its on-device data is removed, and your notification token and watches are dropped automatically.
